As reiterated by Skymet Meteorology Division in India, thundershowers have once again begun to lash Bangalore. A couple of hours ago, isolated thunderstorm and thundershower activity had occurred over the capital city of Karnataka. Within three hours, the Garden City has received 44 mm of rain with a significant drop in temperature. The maximum temperature that was around 35°C in the afternoon has come down to 22°C within a span of three hours since 2:30 pm.

These showers have resulted in pleasant weather conditions over the Silicon City of India. It seems like Bangalore has finally got its pleasant weather crown back for at least some time now.

As mentioned by Skymet, regeneration of clouds have taken place due to available moisture and several areas in the city have started to receive thundershowers. Areas including MG Road, Ashok Nagar and Ulsoor.

Twitterati were the first to react when rains began to lash the city. Here are some reactions from the micro blogging site.

During the next two days, a few spell of thundershowers may be observed in the city. Temperatures will witness a marginal drop. Evenings will become pleasant again.
