As per Skymet Weather, a trough is extending from North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra coast, therefore, we expect light to moderate rain and thundershower activity to continue for the next few days. One or two short spells of intense shower may also occur in some parts of Chennai but heavy to extremely heavy rains are ruled out.

The interior parts of Tamil Nadu will also continue with scattered rain and thundershower activity. The maximum day temperatures will settle in mid-30’s in spite of the significant rain activity. The weather will also remain warm and sultry.
