As per Skymet Weather, these rains can be attributed to the well-marked Low-Pressure area over West Madhya Pradesh and adjoining Rajasthan and significant rains were received majorly by most parts of South West Madhya Pradesh. Due to these hefty rains, the rain deficit over Madhya Pradesh has reduced and is likely to become surplus in a few days due to the continuous rainfall over the region.

However, now the persisting weather system is moving away, rainfall activity is likely to reduce over the West Madhya Pradesh but light to moderate rains will continue.
Meanwhile, rainfall activity over Southeast Madhya Pradesh is likely to increase as the trough which is moving across Madhya Pradesh is likely to persist over the area. Also, scattered to moderate rain showers may also occur over central parts of the state. Temperatures are also below normal levels over most parts and these pleasant conditions are likely to prevail.
