These weather conditions can be attributed to a cyclonic circulation which is seen prevailing over Northeast Arabian Sea off Gujarat and Konkan Coast. Also, a trough is seen extending from this system up to the east-central Arabian Sea.

Whereas, Vidarbha and South Madhya Maharashtra region will continue to witness scattered rainfall activities during the similar time frame.

Thereafter, the intensity of these rains is anticipated to reduce gradually over northern districts of Maharashtra including North Konkan, North Madhya Maharashtra and Vidarbha.
