The state of Rajasthan has been receiving some good rains and even yesterday some pretty intense showers have been seen in parts. During the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Thursday, Pilani recorded a whopping 50 mm of rain, Sikar 32 mm, Jaipur 32 mm, Sri Gangangar 29 mm, Ajmer 20 mm, and Bhilwara 19 mm.
Generally, this area is known for dust storm activities during this period. In fact, areas like Jaisalmer, Phalodi, Jodhpur, Bikaner and adjoining areas also recorded rains during the last 24 hours.
Now, northern parts bordering the Haryana region including Ganganagar, Suratgarh will see moderate rains today with isolated heavy spells. However, the extreme southern as well as the western parts will see very little rain today and tomorrow.
A little increase in rains is expected around May 28 in view of another weather system. The spread of rains will be less as compared to this spell.
