The states of South India are reeling under good rains from last many days and so is the present weather condition of Karnataka these days. The state has been under the influence of rains from almost the beginning of the month. Due to continuous rainy spell, the maximums across most parts of the state have remained in upper 20’s.
So were the last 24 hours for almost the entire state including Bengaluru. Within the span of last 24 hours from 08:30 am as on Friday, Karwar recorded 49.6 mm of rains, Koppal 48.8 mm, Haveri 39.4 mm, Mangaluru 36 mm, Bengaluru 34 mm, Belgaum 19 mm and Madikeri 18.2 mm and Bellary witnessed 17 mm of rains.

As per Skymet Weather, the cyclonic circulation is persisting over southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining area. A trough from this system is extending up to the southeast Arabian Sea across Karnataka and Rayalaseema.

Due to this, moderate rain is expected to continue over most parts of South Karnataka including Bengaluru and at a few districts of coastal Karnataka for the next few days. However, the regions of North Karnataka will witness light with isolated moderate spells. Bengaluru may also get to see moderate spells for the next 72 hours.
In a nutshell, almost the entire state of Karnataka will get to witness rains for the next 2-3 days.
