While the city recorded a trace of rain a day before, rainfall intensity did increase in the past 24 hours and a few light to moderate showers were witnessed over the capital city of Karnataka. In a span of 24 hours, both the Bengaluru as well as the Bengaluru Airport observatory recorded 11 mm of rainfall, each.

These weather conditions have been attributed to the presence of a feeble trough in proximity of Bengaluru. Thus, moisture incursion has been increasing over the region resulting in cloud development and rains over the IT Hub.

As per weathermen at Skymet Weather, light to moderate showers are expected to continue over Bengaluru during the next 24 to 48 hours. However, thereafter, the rainfall activity will witness a decrease and only very light rains will occur over the capital city of Karnataka.

As far as the temperatures are concerned, they will continue to settle in the late 20s letting Bengaluru keep the pleasant weather crown.
