The IT city of India, Bengaluru has recorded light spells of rain in the past 24 hours. Similar weather conditions were seen a day before as well over the area.
The reason behind these showers can be attributed to a trough that is extending from Odisha up to Coastal Karnataka across South Interior Karnataka. With the persistence of this weather system over the region for a few days, moderate spells may occur over Bengaluru and adjoining areas in the next 24 hours.
