Short spells of rain continued to occur over many parts of Maharashtra. In fact, the capital city also recorded light to moderate rains.
The last 24 hours were no different and a few areas witnessed some rains but these showers were not widespread in nature. Light to moderate rains occurred over Konkan and Goa, whereas hilly regions of the state received moderate to heavy rains.

As per Skymet Weather, since last three days good rains have been going on over Vidarbha region however parts of Marathwada and North Madhya Maharashtra remained dry.
In a span of 24 hours from 08:30 am on Wednesday, Bhira recorded rainfall to the tune of 44 mm, followed by Vengurla 40 mm, Mahabaleshwar 36 mm, Harnai 33 mm, Nagpur 16 mm, Ratnagiri 8 mm, Beed 4 mm and Alibag 3 mm.

Weathermen expect light to moderate rains to continue over Vidarbha for the next 2 to 3 days. However Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada will have dry weather conditions. Isolated rains cannot be ruled out.
Owing to proximity of the sea and moderate humid winds from Arabian Sea, Konkan and Goa will continue with light to moderate rains, while neighboring districts of Pune, Nashik, Satara and Sangli may receive light rains.
