Now as per weatherman at Skymet Weather, good news is for everyone in Nagaland as rains are all set to intensify over the state in the next two to three days when few moderate spells can be expected. However, extremely heavy showers are not predicted over the state at the moment.

Dimapur, Mon, Longleng, Kohima, and Mokokchung would be some of the cities that would be delighted with the rains. This weather activity could be accredited to the southwesterly winds from the Bay of Bengal that would increase the moisture level over the region, resulting in good rain and thundershower.

After August 12, rains will again lessen over the state of Nagaland but the weather would not go absolutely dry and scattered places may get rains thereafter also.

Maximum temperatures that have been settling in the high 20s to lower 30s over most parts of the state would descent by two to three degrees on account of the forthcoming showers and cloud persistence. On a similar note, nights would stay cool and comfortable.
