Since the beginning of the monsoon season good rains have remained far away from the city of Hyderabad. In fact, the last time the Biryani city received heavy rains was on June 8th when 87 mm of rain was recorded by the city of Nizams.
Since then, occasional moderate rainy spells have been making appearances over Hyderabad. However not even one spell of heavy rainfall has been witnessed by the city in the last four weeks.

The month of July also began on an almost dry note for Hyderabad. While the city did not receive any rain on the first day of the month, there were traces of rainfall thereafter on alternate days.
However, during the last 24 hours from 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Hyderabad recorded 3 mm of rainfall. The reason for these rains over the Biryani city has been attributed to localised weather activity.
As per skymet weather, good rains will remain far away from Hyderabad during the next few days due to absence of any weather system in proximity of the region.
