Good Monsoon rains to return in Bengaluru, pleasant weather to persist

The weather of Bengaluru remained more or less dry in the past two to three days. In fact, the last 24 hours were also of no difference as the city recorded mere traces of Monsoon rains.

Nevertheless, a cyclonic circulation has developed over the Comorin area and a trough is extending along the Tamil Nadu Coast. Under the influence of these weather systems, scattered rain and thundershowers are likely over south interior parts of Karnataka including the Silicon city, Bengaluru.

As per Meteorologist at Skymet Weather, the garden city of India may record few moderate intensity Monsoon showers in the next two to three days.

But then again these spells will be patchy as some parts of the city may receive good rains while the other extents during the same time frame may get to witness scattered showers.

As on August 30, Bengaluru has received 352.3 mm of rainfall as opposed to its monthly average rain figure of 147 mm. As far as the rainfall distribution is concerned, the sub division South Interior Karnataka is rain deficient by 19 %.
