The city of Hyderabad remained dry during the past few days. In fact, the City of Nizams witnessed a dry spell for about three days. However, rains did make an appearance over the Biryani City and light rains did make an appearance over the city a day before to the tune of 0.8 mm.
But it seems like this was happiness for just about a day and the last 24 hours once again became dry for the city of Hyderabad. Good showers have sort of turned their backs against the capital city of Telangana.

Now, rain gods are finally going to give Hyderabad the Monsoon treatment it deserves after a long time. Good showers are expected to make an appearance over Hyderabad and are expected to stay for some time.

Presently, a trough is running from Sub-Himalayan West Bengal to Tamil Nadu across Chhattisgarh and Telangana. Therefore, scattered rain and thundershowers are expected over the state capital during the next 2 to 3 days. In fact, a few moderate spells are possible over Hyderabad on September 5 and 6.
Due to these rains, temperatures will once again become comfortable and the maximums which are currently settling in the mid-30s will come down to lower 30s. Nights will also become cool and minimums will settle around 24 and 25 degrees. However, after 3 to 4 days, weather will once again become dry over the region.
