A cyclonic circulation is expected to develop over west central and adjoining northwest Bay of Bengal by tomorrow. There are chances that this weather system may intensify into a low pressure area. With chances of this weather system turning into a low pressure area, it will move in a westerly direction and will start affecting coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana by morning of June 18.
This will make room for moderate rain at many places over the region and good rainfall is expected till June 20.
Places like Hyderabad, Nizamabad and Ramagundam may receive fairly widespread rain and thundershowers activity. Temperatures are expected to fall by 3-4°C during this period. We expect that the temperatures which were running above normal by 3-5°C will come down to around normal or below normal.
Since last many days weather has been dry over Telangana, though isolated rain activity is going on but this system will provide its first significant rains of the Monsoon season.
We can expect the onset of Monsoon during this period over Telangana due to continuous good rain activity.
