Hyderabad rains have not been too kind with the Biryani city for the past few days. In fact, the city has either remained dry or received traces of light rainfall in the past four days. The last time the city did record good rains was on August 12 wherein a good 21 mm of rainfall was observed.

Thereafter, good showers did take a backseat from the City of Nizams and the city has remained almost dry. However, during the last 24 hours also, the city of Hyderabad has remained dry and no rainfall activity has taken place. These weather activities have been occurring due to the absence of any weather system over the region.

However, weather of Hyderabad is all set to take a U turn and rains will make an appearance over the capital city of Telangana very soon. In fact, the next 24 hours are expected to be rainy enough for the city with light to moderate showers lashing Hyderabad. Not only this, the possibility of a few heavy spells of rainfall cannot be ruled out.

These weather conditions will be attributed to the presence of a cyclonic circulation over Odisha and adjoining areas. This system will move in a southwest direction due to its tilting in a south west westward direction. Due to this, rainfall activity is expected to increase over Hyderabad and adjoining areas of Telangana.
