Yesterday’sWell Marked Low-Pressure Area over Northeast Rajasthanand adjoining Madhya Pradesh now lies over South Haryana and adjoining North Rajasthan. A Western Disturbance is moving as an upper air system across North Pakistan and adjoining Jammu and Kashmir. Also, the Axis of Monsoon Trough is moving across Anupgarh, centre of Well-Marked Low-Pressure Area, Gwalior, Satna, Daltonganj, Digha and then towards the northeast Bay of Bengal.
Due to theinteraction of the Well-Marked Low-Pressure Area and the Western Disturbance, the Troughline is likely to shift again towards North. These three systems in tandem will give moderate to heavy rains over many parts of Haryana with isolated very heavy spells.
In the past 24 hours, places likeAmbala, Bhiwani, Hisar, Narnaul and Rohtakwitnessed 12.3 mm, 9.2 mm, 12 mm, and 2.6 mm of rains, respectively.
Heavy rains will be seen over thewestern parts of Haryana like Sirsa, Fatehabad, and Kurukshetra.Whereas rest parts of the state will witness moderate rains with isolated heavy spells. Light rains are already being going on over many places of Haryana. While intermittent rains with few intense spells will continue over the state. The weathermen have to say that these rains will continue till Sunday, but the intensity will take a dip towards Sunday afternoon.
