Since the last 2 days, Gaya in Bihar has been receiving good Monsoon rains. The residents of the city were relieved to see the good Monsoon rains as the place was dry for most of the summers and these Monsoon rains have brought the much needed relief.
In last 2 days the rain over Gaya has been heavy. Yesterday the city recorded 52 mm of rainfall whereas today by 05:30 am, the rainfall activity recorded was of 51 mm. So, we can say that in the last 2 days 103 mm of rainfall has occurred over the region.
These rains can be attributed to the low-pressure area that is persisting over the region. This weather system has moved now to Madhya Pradesh and adjoining Uttar Pradesh region.
