The state of Maharashtra is all set to see some good rainfall activities in the next few days. Showers will be more over the Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada region as compared to the other parts of the state.
During the last 24 hours also some rains were seen over parts of the state including Nagpur at 14 mm, Gondia 14 mm, Brahmapuri 7 mm, Wardha 3 mm.
On September 22 and 23, rains will be mostly seen over Madhya Maharashtra and Martahwada wherein a few heavy spells may be seen. In fact, almost all pockets for the next four to five days. Vidarbha may see moderate showers. Rains will also be seen over the Konkan region.
While the low pressure area will not move deep into the Gujarat and Maharashtra region, the east - west shear zone of this system will result in good rains over the state of Maharashtra.
