However, due to the late arrival of Monsoon over the state, which was supposed to be around June 7 or 8, Bihar remained rain deficient by 32 percent.

As per weather expert of Skymet Weather; Monsoon has picked up pace, thus we can expect few moderate spells over North Bihar including places like Patna, Bhagalpur and Purnea.

Although, the intensity of the rains are most expected to dwindle after the span of 24 hours, intermittent rain and thundershowers will continue over Bihar. Hence, the weather is not anticipated to go completely dry.

Furthermore; the flow of moist winds from Bay of Bengal will continue to feed moisture over the state, thus increasing the levels of humidity. The weather is also likely to remain partly cloudy to cloudy, with day temperatures settling in the mid-30s.

With just three days left for the month to end, we are not expecting much variation in the rainfall statistics for Bihar. Nonetheless, the rains will pick up pace during the first week of July.
