The city of Nizams, Hyderabad has been witnessing good rains for the past few days. In fact, since the beginning of the month of October, Hyderabad has been witnessing rains of varied intensity. While there have been days when the Biryani City did record light showers but an isolated heavy spell of 83 mm was also seen on one of the days.
The last 24 hours were also quite rainy for the capital city of Telangana with light to moderate showers making appearances over the city. In a span of 24 hours from 8:30 am on Saturday, Hyderabad recorded 19 mm of rainfall was witnessed.

These rainfall activities can be attributed to multiple weather features. One of them being a cyclonic circulation which is currently over Odisha coast and adjoining areas. Another weather system is over North Interior Karnataka in the form of a cyclonic circulation. A trough is also seen extending from this system up to Odisha across Telangana.

Thus, due to the aforementioned weather systems, rainfall activity will continue over the city of Hyderabad during the next 24 to 48 hours. These rains are expected to be of light to moderate intensity. Due to this, temperatures will also witness a drop resulting in comfortable weather over the city. However, rains will reduce after 48 hours as the weather system will move away.
