India has already witnessed 2 cyclones post monsoon season and a new system can be seen forming in the southeast Bay of Bengal.

While cyclone Hudhud battered the port city of Vishakhapatnam on 12th October, cyclone Nilofar, fortunately, spared the coastal areas of Gujarat.
Cyclone Hudhud originated in the Bay of Bengal and its effects were seen in the form of heavy rain in parts of Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. The cyclone also led to catastrophic blizzard in Nepal, killing more than 30 foreign trekkers and tourists including Indians.
Cyclone Nilofar on the other side weakened rapidly before striking the Indian West coast. The very severe cyclone dissipated over the sea before it could make a landfall on the 31st October as anticipated.

According to Skymet Meteorology Division in India, the new system might appear as a low pressure area on the 3rd November and later become a depression intensifying further, steadily.
