South coastal stations may receive light to moderate rains. Light rains are likely mainly over the rest parts of Tamil Nadu. Chennai will be mainly warm and humid along with light rains. Looking at the forecast, the rainfall is likely to decrease over the state after 24 hours.

These rains are likely to continue for the next four to five days.

Northeast Monsoon is yet to set in over Tamil Nadu area. However, the present situation shows that the Monsoon withdrawal might get a little delayed.
