Weather in Uttar Pradesh
In Uttar Pradesh, the cold day condition prevails at most places over west Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places over the eastern part of the state. Fog in Lucknow cleared up to a large extent and visibility recorded here was almost a kilometre on Friday morning. However, the general visibility in Allahabad and Varanasi remained nil today morning. The maximums recorded on Thursday are still below normal but with fog abating from most parts, day temperatures are likely to show a marginal increase.

Weather in Bihar
Fog in Bihar has dissipated to a large extent but few places still remained engulfed in dense fog. In Patna and Gaya the general visibility dropped to less than 100 meters on Friday morning. People here woke up to a foggy morning on Thursday as well but as Sun made an appearance during the afternoon hours, maximum temperatures increased. Places which had been reeling under cold day conditions since the last couple of days are breathing a sigh of relief.
