The early morning weather in Delhi was almost clear today except for Palam and Vikaspuri where shallow fog was reported. The general visibility at 6 am in the city today was 400 meters but around 7 am when the sun came out it dropped to 350 meters. The runway visibility at the Palam airport was also very good at around 1400 meters at 6 am today. However, it dropped to 1300 meters at 7 am but that would not cause any hindrance to flight operations.

The early morning temperature recorded in the city was not very cold either. The Palam observatory recorded around 8°C as the minimum temperature, making the early morning weather in Delhi comfortable.

The weather in North India was more or less similar to that of Delhi. Except for Gorakhpur and Varanasi where visibility was nil at around 6 a.m, almost entire North India observed good visibility. In places like Chandigarh, Amritsar, Agra Allahabad and Lucknow the visibility level was over 600 meters, better than what it was yesterday.
