After a break of four to five days, the visibility over the national capital was observed low as of today morning. Shallow fog and mist engulfed many parts of Delhi and NCR.
Currently, a feeble Western Disturbance has approached North Pakistan and adjoining Jammu and Kashmir. In the wake of this weather activity, the surface wind of northern plains including Delhi and NCR has become very light and calm during the early morning and night hours.

As of now, the wind speed has condensed, temperatures have already reduced and humidity have amplified during the late night and early morning hours, so foggy conditions have surrounded Delhi and its adjoining regions of Noida, Faridabad, Ghaziabad and Gurugram.

We expect similar weather conditions to linger for at least the next 24 to 48 hours over the region. Additionally, the visibility may reduce further, with the decrease in winds and shallow to moderate fog will appear.
The current weather condition also triggered the pollution levels over the region. Thus, we can say that the pollution in Delhi and NCR will again escalate.
Talking about yesterday temperatures, Palam observatory in Delhi recorded a maximum of 23.4°C, while Sadarjung observatory reported 23.7°C. Similarly, the former recorded a minimum of 10.6°C, while the latter reported 9.6°C.
Gradually maximums will descend and minimums may descend during the next three days. Days would be warm with temperatures settling in lower 20s, while nights will be cool with mercury ranging around 10-11°C.
