Fog in Delhi remains better, day to be partly cloudy

Fog in Delhi and other parts of northwest plains continued to remain better for the second consecutive day as good visibility levels were reported till 8 am today. Tomorrow too the situation of fog in Delhi is expected to remain the same.

Meanwhile, the day temperature in Delhi which rose almost five degrees above normal in the last couple of days due to clear sky and less fog during morning hours will drop today. Sky in Delhi is expected to remain partly cloudy and will lead to a drop in day temperature.

Delhi observed a maximum of 27.8 degrees at the Safdarjung Observatory while the Palam Observatory recorded 26.7 degrees on Monday. But it is expected to drop on Tuesday and record around 25 degrees Celsius.

Minimum temperature in Delhi is still in single digit but the partly cloudy sky may push them towards double digits, The Safdarjung and Palam Observatory recorded 8.6 degrees as the minimum on Monday morning and it is expected to touch 10 degrees Celsius on Tuesday morning.
