Fog Free Morning In Most Parts Of The Country

Fog In DelhiMost parts of the country remained fog-free on Friday, giving way to a clear weather. The national capital too observed clear weather conditions. No fog was observed in areas like Palam, Noida Fortis, Dwarka, Lajpat Nagar, Vikaspuri, and Model Town. The visibility in Delhi was recorded at a healthy 800 meters at 7.00 am. Meanwhile, other parts of the country too woke up to a fog-free morning with only a few parts observing moderate to dense fog.

People in Bhopal, Indore, and Agra woke up to dense fog. Visibility in these cities read as follows: Bhopal 50 meters, Indore 100 meters, and Agra 100 meters. Other parts of the country, however, remained fog free. Visibility in a few cities was recorded as follows: Hyderabad 500 meters, Imphal 800 meters, Kolkata 900 meters, Amritsar 2000 meters, Chandigarh 3000 meters, and Allahabad 2000 meters.

Despite fog clearing up in most parts, a total of 61 trains were running behind schedule. A few important trains with their approximate delay time are as follows: Allahabad-Saharanpur Nauchandi Express (delayed by 8 hours), Saharanpur-Allahabad Nauchandi Express (delayed by 8 hours), Mumbai-Firozpur Punjab Mail (delayed by 8 hours), Howrah-Gwalior Chambal Express (delayed by 14 hours), Anand Vihar-Bhagalpur Vikramshila Express (delayed by 22 hours), Muzzafarpur-Bandra Awadh Express (delayed by 11 hours), Bandra-Dehradun Dehradun Express (delayed by 12 hours), and Puri-New Delhi Purushottam Express (delayed by 10 hours).

As for air traffic, only 2 flights were delayed, including one departure and one arrival. Air traffic flowed freely with not even a single flight being cancelled.
