Feeble Western Disturbance may give rain over hills and foothills of North India

Northwest India has seen the withdrawal of Southwest Monsoon. With this, the minimum temperature has started dipping across many parts. In fact, even the winds are changing

A feeble Western Disturbance is likely over the mountains around October 9-10 including Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Light rains may be seen over the foothills and Northern parts of Punjab and Haryana. Places like Pathankot, Jalandhar, Ambala, Karnal, Chandigarh, Rohtak, Hoshiarpur, Panchkula, Yamunanagar. Delhi will be on the outskirts thus rains may not be likely but some sprinkle is a possibility.

During this period, minimum temperatures may rise and day temperatures may see a marginal drop. October 11th onward, total clearance is expected across the hills as well as the plains. After the passage of the system, temperatures may drop again.
