The hilly states of north India have been observing great weather conditions as far as rain and snow are concerned as bank to bank western disturbances have been affecting the hills of North India.
In fact, a fresh Western Disturbance is coming up for the hills tomorrow, which is expected to be fairly active. This system is expected to affect the entire hilly regions including Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh and Uttarakhand.
Moreover, with this system, mid reaches may be seeing snow including Srinagar, Gulmarg and even up to Manali and adjoining areas. The weather activity will begin tomorrow and peak on February 9 gradually reducing on February 10 and 11.
Rains may even spillover to the foothills of Punjab and Haryana including Pathankot, Chandigarh, Gurdaspur, Jalandhar, possibly Ambala and adjoining areas. Delhi and adjoining areas may only have to do with a little bit of clouding.
After the passage of the system, there will be a break of a few days before another system makes an appearance around February 15. Thus, in between the two systems, temperatures may also witness a drop as cold winds will blow over the Northern Plains
