The weather over East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar has gone dry for the last two days. However, East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand are all set to get scattered rain and thundershowers once again. These rain activities will be witnessed in the wake of a Cyclonic Circulation which has formed over Northwest parts of India. By tomorrow, a Trough will extend up to Bihar across East Uttar Pradesh.
Thus, by tomorrow afternoon we expect scattered rain and thundershower activities to begin over eastern parts of Madya Pradesh which will gradually start affecting Bihar and Jharkhand. By January 8 and 9, we expect rain and thundershower activities to lash eastern parts of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand.
So, the rain activities over Bihar and Jharkhand will increase on January 9. Particularly the eastern parts of Uttar Pradesh particularly Sultanpur, Jaunpur, Gorakhpur, Prayagraj, Allahabad, Amethi might get to see good rains. However, rain activities will be more intense over Jharkhand as compared to Bihar. However, scattered rains are also expected over Bihar.
So, these unseasonal rains might continue until January 9. By January 10, the weather will once again go dry.
During that time, we expect the temperatures to increase once again by two to three degrees. However, maximum temperatures will remain below 5 degrees due to on and off rains and overcast skies.
