The state of Rajasthan has not seen rainfall activity in many parts for the past few days. Gujarat on the other hand saw good rainfall activities with some heavy showers also over the region a few days ago.
Now rainfall in Gujarat has reduced but continues to lash some parts of the state where in a couple of places have also recorded moderate rainfall activity in the last 24 hours. for instance, vallabhbhai vidyanagar recorded 55 mm of rainfall in the past 24 hours from 8:30 a.m. on Thursday.
Now as per weathermen at Skymet Weather, eastern parts of Rajasthan are expected to see some rainfall activity from tomorrow. Cities including Bundi, Kota, Jhalawar, Sawai Madhopur, Baran, and Bhilawara may see light to moderate rainfall activity for the next two to three days. Western parts of the state however are expected to remain dry and rains may not be seen over these areas.
Some parts of Gujarat may also see some increase in rainfall activity and a couple of areas may see some heavy showers. These rainfall activities over Eastern parts of Rajasthan and Gujarat are due to the trough which is extending from East Central Arabian Sea up to uttar Pradesh across East Rajasthan and Gujarat.
