Delhi and the NCR region during the afternoon hours of today observed some tremors. The tremors were felt at around 2.40 pm and the magnitude of the quake was 5.8 on Richter Scale. The epicentre of the quake was in Nepal, which was close to the bordering areas of Uttarakhand as well as Uttar Pradesh.
The tremors were felt by many across the Delhi and the NCR region which also prompted many people and employees to get out of their homes as well as offices.
The earthquake was of moderate intensity and no damage to life or property has been reported anywhere.
