Some tremors of the quake were also felt in some parts of the Delhi and the NCR including the Gurgaon, Noida as well as the Ghaziabad region. In fact, few areas in the state of Uttar Pradesh also witnessed tremors during that time.

However, the good news is that, due to the intensity of the quake not being on the higher side, no reports have come up of any kind of loss of life or damage to property so far and none are likely as well.

Delhi happens to be prone to tremors when an Earthquake strikes the neighboring nations of Pakistan as well as Afghanistan.

In fact, just about two months ago during May, 6.2 magnitude earthquake had struck the northern part of Afghanistan. During that time, tremors of the quake were felt in parts of North India including Delhi as well as Pakistan.
