Delhi weather has been in the hide and seek phase for the past few days. Residents are not complaining as on and off thunderstorm and dust storm activities accompanied with windy conditions and rains have been keeping evenings pleasant.
Last evening also, isolated dust storm along with thunderstorm activity was observed over Delhi and the NCR region. However, rainfall activity did remain far away.
These weather conditions were attributed to the presence of a trough in proximity of Delhi. Now, the trough has moved away.
At present, the maximum temperatures are sky rocketing over the city settling at 41 degrees which is a notch above the normal levels. Not only this, humidity levels have also increased marginally.
Along with this winds are variable. Thus, due to all these weather factors, there are chances of thundery build up during the afternoon hours. With this, light thunderstorm, dust storm may occur over isolated pockets of Delhi-NCR.
As far as rainfall activity is concerned, chances of rains are almost nil. Thus, while thunderstorms may appear, rains will remain at bay.
