Delhi-NCR is all set to witness fresh pre-Monsoon activities on Wednesday evening. Dust storm, thunderstorm accompanied with light rain and squally winds are most likely to lash parts of the national capital and adjoining areas of Gurugram, Faridabad, Noida and Ghaziabad by late afternoon hours.
However, as reiterated by Skymet Weather before, these activities would be mild to moderate intensity only. This is the third consecutive day, when Delhi-NCR is recording pre-Monsoon activity.

Sky has already become cloudy over most parts of the city. Weather models are showing a thick patch of rain bearing clouds approaching Delhi-NCR. At present, this rainy patch is giving rains over parts of Haryana.

According to weathermen, these showers will be short but intense in nature. Not only this, these upcoming activities would be instrumental in bringing down the temperatures.
In fact, mercury has already started showing a declining trend. The mercury which has reached 36°C by 2:30 pm has now dropped significantly. Thus, we can expect a pleasant evening ahead.
Although the affecting cyclonic circulation over Haryana has now weakened but the remnants of the system have been capable of giving some weather activities.
Further, the weather is most likely to clear tomorrow onwards and some hot days are in store for plains of North India.
May has started on a rainy note for Delhi-NCR. In span of just nine days, the city has witnessed three spells of pre-Monsoon activities. This has kept a check on temperatures and as a result, heatwave remained at bay from the national capital.
