The hottest state of India, Rajasthan has been receiving pre-Monsoon activities since the last few days now. Rain, thundershower and dust storm activities are continuously affecting most parts of the state, which has kept the heatwave at bay. All thanks to the cyclonic circulation is prevailing over Southwest Rajasthan for the last 48 hours.
Now also, weather has become favourable for dust storm and thundershowers to lash several parts of desert state. At present, rain bearing clouds have been hovering over Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur and Barmer and weather activity may follow anytime now.
Thereafter during the next 24 hours, this cyclonic circulation is expected to weaken, leading to clear weather conditions. In wake of this, temperatures are expected to rise in most parts of the state. At present, most places of Rajasthan are recording near normal day temperature or below normal temperature.

According to weathermen, we expect the temperatures to rise by 3-4°C in the next 2-3 days. While there is a possibility that there would be re-occurrence of heatwave conditions in some isolated places of West Rajasthan on account of dry weather conditions.
