People staying in Rajasthan have been waiting for some good showers that can give them some respite from the prevailing hot weather conditions. In fact, rains have remained absent from pouring over the desert state of the country from quite a long time now.
Though a few spells did show up in a few districts of Rajasthan a couple of days but did not bring any comfortable weather conditions for the residents of Rajasthan. Though as per the weathermen, dust storms along with light rainy spells are seen marching towards the state.
As per Skymet Weather, a Western Disturbance can be marked over Jammu and Kashmir and an induced cyclonic circulation is also seen over central parts of North Rajasthan and Haryana.
In the wake of this weather system, isolated dust storms along with light rainy spells are expected to occur over the northern and eastern parts of Rajasthan tomorrow night. On account of this, the maximums that were settling near or beyond the 45°C are expected to fall marginally. However, heatwave will still persist over the state for another 24-48 hours.
On Sunday, Churu recorded a whopping 45.5°C, Bikaner 43.9°C, Phalodi 43.5°C, and Barmer witnessed a scorching 43°C maximum temperatures.
Skymet Weather further reiterates that heatwave that is ruling the state at present will get abated after 48 hours. Hence, a brief respite in the desert state is likely.
