For a while now, the residents of Delhi NCR are witnessing pleasant weather conditions. Thanks to the decent rainfall of last week the mercury is reluctant to go above normal. It is during the noon time that people have registered some discomfort due to heat.

But today evening, people in Delhi may expect a steady blow of dust as the remnants of the dust storm over Rajasthan may effect Delhi and NCR.  Even chances of light rain on Sunday and Monday cannot be ruled out over the city. The National Capital is likely to get enveloped under dust storms today in the late afternoon or evening.

As per the predictions by the weathermen, this year summers are going to be a difficult time for the country, particularly in the northern states. The feel effect of the summers hitting hard can be felt easily these days.

The day temperatures, particularly the afternoons, in Delhi have become uneasy and uncomfortable. However, the morning and nights are still pleasant.

As per Skymet Weather, a cyclonic circulation persists over Central Rajasthan in the lower levels.

In the wake of this, the sandstorm and thunderstorm activity are likely to occur during late afternoon or evening today in parts of Rajasthan. However, the effect of the dust storm will not be only confined to Rajasthan but dusty winds are likely to travel towards Delhi and adjoining areas as well.

So strong chances of Delhiites witnessing a dusty Saturday followed by a rainy Sunday are on the cards. When the temperatures are high and humidity increases, cumulonimbus clouds which are vertically developed clouds form thereby resulting in rain and thundershowers. And such is the possibility of weather formation over the Delhi & NCR.
