In wake of the absence of Pre-Monsoon showers, the maximum temperatures of West Uttar Pradesh have remained marginally above normal. In fact, the minimum temperatures are also significantly above normal by at least 4°C to 5°C.

Meanwhile, both the day and night temperatures of East Uttar Pradesh are settling near normal.

As per Skymet Weather, good news is around the corner, as easterly winds are blowing over many parts of the state. Therefore, we expect isolated dust storm and thunderstorm activity over West Uttar Pradesh and the foothills of Central Uttar Pradesh during the next 24 hours.

Places such as Bareilly, Moradabad, Meerut, Rampur, and Bulandshahar are likely to witness thunderstorm and dust storm activity. Meanwhile, weather of East Uttar Pradesh is likely to remain dry for the next two to three days.

Thereafter, around April 6, we expect another spell of isolated rain and thundershower activity over West Uttar Pradesh and the foothills of Uttar Pradesh. Districts such as Bareilly, Moradabad, Meerut, Rampur, and Bulandshahar will record weather activity once again.

In fact, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Gorakhpur, and Siddharthnagar would record showers once again. The intensity of pre Monsoon showers is likely to increase on April 7. Moreover, the spread of rain and thundershower activities will also increase and would cover many parts of the state including the cities of Lucknow, Allahabad, and Varanasi.

These pre Monsoon showers are likely to continue for another three to four days. During that time, the temperature profile is anticipated to witness some change. Henceforth, both the minimum and maximum temperatures would settle near the normal levels.
