The feeble Western Disturbance has moved away eastwards across Jammu and Kashmir. Therefore, marginal fall in night temperatures will be observed over the Western Himalayas.
Moderate fog occurred in parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. In fact, dense fog was observed in parts of Himachal with below 100-meter visibility in parts of Sundernagar and Pantnagar.
Now another fresh Western Disturbance is likely to approach over the northern hills by December 3. However, the night temperatures will remain almost same during the next 24 hours or may drop marginally. Otherwise, mainly clear sky and dry weather will prevail.
The hills of Jammu and Kashmir will have cool morning followed by a bright sunny day. Mostly pleasant conditions will prevail making it perfect for the tourists heading towards the hills of North India.
Light winds and fog will continue in parts of south Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and few parts of Jammu and Kashmir. fog will mainly be moderate and dense over few places. Day temperatures will remain stable or marginal rise is expected over the northwestern plains.
Dry weather will continue over the plains of Northwest India. Shallow to moderate fog is expected at many parts including West Uttar Pradesh.
Today in Delhi, conditions were comfortable with less pollution, as moderate northwesterly winds are prevailing over the region. However, conditions will deteriorate tomorrow, and pollution levels may increase again.
