Rainfall activity which was occurring over the Vidarbha region did take a break and most places remained dry during the last 24 hours. However, isolated light rain occurred over a couple of places in Vidarbha as a trough was extending from Bihar to Interior Karnataka across Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha.
Until now, day and night temperatures were settling near the normal levels and now they are likely to settle below the normal levels as northerly and northeasterly winds are blowing over Vidarbha and Marathwada. Now, the weather is expected to remain dry.

Thus, cities of Nagpur, Akola, Buldhana, Yeotmal, Aurangabad, Jalna, Parbhani, Nanded and others are likely to witness dry weather conditions in the coming days. Along with the maximums, the minimum temperature is also expected to witness a drop by about one or two degrees Celsius.
As far as sky conditions are concerned, they will also remain clear and sunny days are likely to prevail over the entire region of Marathwada as well as Vidarbha. In fact, the month of March is likely to end on a dry note for both Marathwada and Vidarbha region.

As dry weather is in the forecast, farmers should continue harvesting Rabi crops, as well as Orange, Pomegranate and Mosambi crops. Also, farmers must irrigate summer groundnut and Maize crops.
