The reason for these rains can be attributed to the low pressures area over west-central Bay of Bengal. The system is most likely to intensify into a depression and move in northwest direction towards North Andhra Pradesh and Odisha Coast.
Places like Pune, Nashik, Nagpur, Parbhani, Jalgaon, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Sangli and Satara will see good rains around October 19-21.
Presently, Vidarbha region is reeling under very warm weather conditions, with maximums settling around mid-30s. Meanwhile, other parts of the state would continue record in the range of 31-33 degrees.
