Dry weather in Delhi to persist, thunderstorm during later half of week

Delhi weather has continued to follow a rising trend with the maximums soaring sky high. Residents can feel the summer heat as dry and hot afternoons have been wreaking havoc over the residents of Delhi-NCR region.

Delhi hasn’t received any rain for the month of March this year. While the normal rainfall for Delhi during the month of March is 15.9 mm, rainfall activity has remained quite absent.

In wake of a Western Disturbance, dry air mass is prevailing over the Delhi-NCR and adjoining areas. Hence, dry and warm weather with clear sky during the day and pleasant nights continue to be observed over the city.

These weather conditions are expected to continue for the next 2-3 days. A rise in temperatures will also be seen.

As a fresh Western Disturbance is approaching, it is expected to disturb the weather conditions over Delhi-NCR region on March 21 and March 22 in the form of short spells of dust storms and thunderstorms.

Due to this, the maximum and minimum temperatures will gradually increase. Th clouding is likely to begin March 21 onward.

However, dry and hot weather is going to stay over Delhi for the next few days causing a lot of heat. People of Delhi should be ready to suffer due to very harsh summers this year as the temperatures have also been rising a lot lately.
