At present, a Western Disturbance persists over Jammu and Kashmir and adjoining areas. Its induced cyclonic circulation is seen over Northwest Rajasthan and adjoining parts of Pakistan.
Due to this system, isolated pockets of Northeast Rajasthan and adjoining areas of West Uttar Pradesh witnessed short spell of rain and thundershower activity accompanied with gusty winds.
Thus, we can say that during the last 24 hours, in Uttar Pradesh, very light rainfall occurred at isolated places over West Uttar Pradesh. However, thunderstorm with light to moderate rainfall occurred at isolated places over Rajasthan.
In the last 24 hours from 08:30 am on Friday, Bharatpur recorded 32 mm of rain, followed by Alwar 7 mm and Agra 2 mm.
Further also we expect such activities to continue over isolated pockets of Rajasthan and its adjoining regions for the next 24 hours. West Rajasthan will continue with very hot day conditions and temperatures settling near 40 degrees mark.
Punjab and Haryana will mainly witness dry and warm weather conditions. However, Delhi-NCR, will witness a hazy morning and with clear sky and chances of thundercloud development in few regions. Extreme southwestern parts of Uttar Pradesh may witness isolated thunderstorm activity.
