Rains have been far away from many parts of North Indian Plains. So much so that the region has been experiencing dry weather. A couple of Western Disturbances will be seen approaching the Western Himalayas but the plains will not be affected as such.
One of these feeble systems will approach the Western Himalayas around November 13 and 14. Some clouds could be seen on account of this Western Disturbance. During the passage of the system, the minimums will see a drop with slight winter chill being felt along the plains, especially during the late evening and morning hours.
Thereafter, another Western Disturbance will approach the hills of North India around November 18, which will again affect the hills and the plains will continue to be on the drier side.
