The states of Gujarat, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh usually observe fair weather conditions during this time. There has not been any rain for the past few days particularly.
For these states, the fair weather period gets interrupted by a Western Disturbance resulting in rains. At present, there is a Western Disturbance which is over the northern parts of Jammu and Kashmir, but will not reach these parts and will be limited to the hills and the foothills of the North Indian plains.
These dry weather conditions may extend beyond a week as well. Thus, in a nutshell, rains will remain far away with weather conditions remaining pleasant during the day and slight nip in the air during the night.
