The eastern parts of the country have been seeing dry weather conditions for the past few days. Other parts of the North, central and south India have some activity. However, eastern parts will see dry weather conditions including Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha.
Odisha has been seeing a rise in the maximum levels where maximums are settling about 36-38 degrees Celsius. Even Jharkhand has seen maximums around 38 degrees. Cities of Gaya and Bankura in Bihar and West Bengal are also seeing extreme rise in maximums. With no rains, dry weather causes the maximum as it is to rise.
The reason for dry weather is attributed to the absence of any weather system in the form of a Western Disturbance over the hills of North India, which would have otherwise caused rains due to its passage from west to east
