The vivid variation in terms of weather conditions can be easily traced from the weather prevailing in parts of Maharashtra. The saga of the dry spell has gripped the state for almost 9 days. In the wake of absence of rains, the temperatures have gone up slightly and are expected to rise further.

At present, a trough is passing from North Madhya Maharashtra to South Rajasthan across Gujarat. However, no other significant weather system is prevailing over the region and hence the state will continue to witness dry and warm weather conditions.

Moreover, in the absence of rains, the temperatures that are already in upper 30’s in parts of the state are expected to witness a further increment, especially along the coastal stations.
