Diwali night may get wet, rain activities expected in Tamil Nadu including Chennai, light rain in Delhi NCR

The celebration of Diwali is coincident with the knock of winter due to Malmas. This is a time of rapid weather change. In such a situation, chances are that when people light a lamp in the evening of Diwali, there may be some showers after that. The cold has knocked in many states and cities of North India, but the possibility of rain in the next 48 hours in South India is looking strong.

According to the information, it is expected that rain activities may occur at some places in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal region on 14 November. Heavy rains with strong thunderstorms expected in Tirunelveli, Ramanathapuram, and Thoothukudi districts of Tamil Nadu.

Chennai city and its adjoining areas may remain cloudy for the next 48 hours with chances of light to moderate rains in some areas.

Similar weather conditions are also being expected in Delhi NCR. As early as November, colder nights are experienced in Delhi NCR.
In the coming days, the fog will increase in Delhi and NCR. Delhi and surrounding cities are also facing severe air pollution. A change in weather conditions can be seen in the coming days for Delhi NCR. As an effect of the active western disturbance, Delhi NCR may experience rain on November 15 or 16. Western disturbances may increase wind speed and improve air quality in Delhi-NCR after Diwali.
