Densefogwas witnessed in some parts of the national capitalDelhiin the early morning hours today. Though, occasionally the city has seen light mist, this is the first time of the season that Delhi has observed fog. This condition is likely to affect rail and air traffic schedules. Early morning commuters especially officers goers will face problems as visibility has dropped to a large extent in pockets.
Earlier, we had said that fog and winter chill will begin to be felt from mid-December onwards which exactly is turning out to be the case. Lack of Western Disturbance had kept winter at bay in Delhi but now it seems that thick woollens will have to be taken out of the closet.
